[ The last thing Thor would ever want to do is hurt Jane. The lightning running over him is not dangerous to him, but he looks worried when he does come closer to her. Still not too close, although his rain bubble extends over her so she's instantly in dry air again. His attention is divided, trying to focus on her and the only thing keeping the storm from going past them too. The truth is he just has to let the storm go. It's been created and all he's doing is making it slow, but it will win. He stubbornly is still fighting it.

The empathy bond between them flares to life because there is no doubt that he is always vulnerable around Jane. She can feel his anger still simmering, now aimed at the storm and himself more than Loki, mixed with frustration, guilt, and anxiety.

He's holding in the lightning he tried to pull out of the sky and there's electricity in the air around them, not enough to hurt her but it's a little static. Thor hates being weak in front of Jane, but she also is the only person he is weak around willingly. He keeps a few feet between them for now. ]

Losing the hammer unlocked all the power I used to push through it. I don't have it fully under control.

[ Which means Mjolnir was never the source of Thor's power. It only leashed it. And while his father thought he was doing the helpful thing with an overpowered child, better than what he did with Hela, it means that Thor is fifteen hundred years old and is not in full control of said power due to the crutch Odin gave him. He looks miserable. ]

I'm sorry.
