[ The light is so bright that Jane has to shield her eyes for a moment despite having the sense not to look up directly at the source of it, but she understands more or less what he's doing now. It was inevitable that he would have to let the storm go eventually, and it's better to do it with some control rather than letting it slip away from him and maybe winding it into something even worse — still, it doesn't make this any easier. She doesn't think it's just about Loki at all, though that was undoubtedly the spark that set it all off in the first place, and it doesn't excuse the reckless, or outright destructive, behavior as usual. But that's something to deal with later.
It wouldn't take any help from the nanites to know just how exhausted Thor is after dealing with all of this, and she's not exactly feeling like an unnecessary trek through the storm either, especially not when the most important thing is right here in front of her anyway. Just standing close to him isn't making her hair stand on end anymore, so it seems like a safe enough moment to cross the distance between them and reach out for Thor's hand. The storm will have everyone taking cover indoors, and even if they were looking out the windows, they wouldn't be able to see anything happening out here.
