[ One of the (many) things he loves about Jane is that she's never afraid of him. While most people do come to realize that Thor is a gentle soul underneath his strength and power, he can be intimidating, especially in the middle of an uncontrollable amount of energy. But she never shies from him, she trusts him without question. He tries hard not to need anyone, but that never works with Jane.
He feels guilty when she points out how wet she is and nods, taking her hand and holding her close to him. Thor is a furnace, unsurprising considering the lightning in him, and he decides to hell with it. Most people will be distracted by the storm and not think twice about what to their eyes will seem a flash of speed and not much detail. It's because he jumps hard, a firm arm around her waist, and it's not the only time he's transported them fair distances from strength alone. He knows where to go.
Thor was given impressive quarters because of his rank and he knows where it is from there, there's even a balcony, which makes it very easy for him to come and go. As long as it doesn't seem like anyone's watching. He isn't sure if everyone is hiding their abilities from the Sarano, but it seemed wise for him. Especially with the storm. He leaps them up onto the balcony, releasing her there. ]
