Likely, but he seems quite inclined to extremes. Pendulums can take quite some time to stop swinging.
Replaced seems quite a different problem from losing. Does he not need a bit of certainty if he's to begin feeling sufficient in himself?
Do you think that would help him? Working on something of my own?
