[ Thor shoots him an amused look and pulls his hand away. They are both very theatrical in their own ways. Asgardians have a flair for the dramatic. ]

Let's not be negative. You're getting married in the here and now.

[ he exhales, shaking loose from the tension. he repeats it, soft. ]

I'm getting married.

[angelpiratebaby]

[ Thor grins at him, ear-to-ear. He whirls and shouts out to the lake, loud and booming. ]

Loki's getting married, universe!

[ loki buries his face in his hands, just . . . wow. ]

[ Thor turns to look back at Loki and laughs, knowing he's embarrassed him and not caring even a little. That's his prerogative. He's gone through a lot of emotions in a short amount of time, from grief and acceptance of lost to joy and playfulness, but he's an emotional man. It happens. ]

Would you rather me lift and spin you again?

[ loki looks up, scandalized. ]

No. Absolutely not.

[ Thor keeps laughing, shaking his head. At least some things don't change. They'll always be able to annoy each other better than anyone else. ]

So what is the plan with the wedding? Should we make invitations?

[ Thor should not be allowed to make invitations. ]

We are not making invitations. I'm willing to let some people know but I'm hardly making it a huge affair.

[ this is a bold lie. loki is going to go all out for his wedding but whether people show up or not is unimportant. what is important is that lawford and loki get the wedding of their dreams. ]

As if you would ever be subtle when throwing a party, please.

[ He knows you, Loki. ]

Invite all your friends, they'll be glad to be there. We've all been suffering these fake marriages and engagements here, having at least one of them be real will be a nice change of pace.

[ loki crosses his arms. ]

How many friends do you expect me to have?

[ Thor smiles at him, crossing his arms too. ]

More than you think. Besides, this William of yours has friends too, yes?

[ loki frowns, considering that. ]

Most likely. Of course anyone he wants is allowed to come.

So between the two of you, you will have several guests. I am certain the Sarano have excellent wedding opportunities, since they care so much for it.

[ Far too much. Thor is married twice over. Not that he's really talked about it since it was accidental and whoops his own fault for being too affectionate with others. ]

You like planning events.

[ loki scowls. ]

As if I'd let the Sarano design my wedding.

[ Thor laughs. ]

I meant locations. Of course you'll plan your own wedding.

I have a few things in mind. And I'll need to accommodate Lawford's needs.

[ that's the most important part, to him. that lawford receives all that is his due. ]

Yes, it is both of your wedding. How quickly do you plan on making this?

[ They won't be on Sarano forever and it seems like a good idea to get it done here since they'll be back in space. ]

[ loki shrugs. ]

It won't take me long. Just the right elements and some magic to ease the way.

[ The some magic gets to him because it reminds him of Frigga, and it's not as if thinking of her has lost its sorrow mixed with the good memories too. ]

Mother would be so happy. She always hoped we'd marry for love.

[ his expression shutters for a moment. ]

[ Thor looks surprised, raising his eyebrows at Loki. ]

Of course she would. Why do you doubt it?

[ loki has to smile at that. ]

Why would I doubt anything?

[ Thor softens, patting Loki on the shoulder. ]

She was wrong to lie to you, but she loved you deeply. I know she only wished for our happiness.
